TRAINING POLICY

from "The Mann Group Training & Development Policy."
The Mann Group will promote training and development of all
employed staff, within their area of work and expertise. This
will ensure a well-qualified workforce able to work safely
and competently.
Procedures are laid down in the training & Development
Policy documnet for all areas of training. Following staff
appraisal, individual action plans will be produced to infill
any shortfall.
During any project, there is a need to make all employees
aware of any Health & Safety requirements as well as maintaining
their competence levels. Project Managers will be responsible
for:-
•ensuring that all staff are monitored
•ensuring that all staff are following accepted methodologies
•ensuring any necessary training is put in place sooner,
rather than later. This will encompass familiarisation on
new equipments by the manufacturers, method statements &
risk assessments for special techniques, as well as any other
Health & Safety matter or vocational qualification shortfall.
This statement covers all aspects of both site and office
