OUR COMMITMENT TO THE CSCS/CPCS
Mann Construction Ltd is actively seeking that all our employees
who work or regularly visit our sites have their skills recognised
by obtaining CSCS/CPCS cards appropriate to their roles.
The first step in obtaining a CSCS/CPCS card is to pass the
appropriate CSCS Health & Safety Test, usually at operative,
supervisor or manager level. To help improve health and safety
standards on our site we book and pay for this test for all
site related employees whenever possible. We also provide
revision material and training as and when required.
Appropriate cards are then achieved through various routes
including OSAT (On-Site Assessment and Training) whereby our
employees competence is assessed (training is delivered when
required) resulting in NVQ qualifications for our employees.
CSCS Cards held by employees include Contracts Managers,
Construction Project Managers, Construction Site Managers,
Construction Site Supervisors, Quantity Surveyors, Construction
Operative General, Construction Operative Drainage Construction,
Construction Operative Pavior, Formworkers, Steelfixers amongst
others.
CPCS Cards held by employees include Competence and
Trained Plant Operators cards for Excavator 360†, Forward
Tipping Dumpers, Ride on Rollers, Slinger Signaller amongst
others.
