Further to completing the enabling works at Ipswich University, Mann’s secure the main groundworks package with Willmott Dixon. McLaren awards Mann’s the substructure works for Wellington Retail Park, Slough. Leading on from the substructure award at Epping Forest College, Mann’s are awarded the 4 storey superstructure works for the same project.
A member of the accounts team successfully completes the London Marathon after months of dedicated training raising funds for their charity Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group.

Mann’s Marketing Director is sponsored by suppliers and clients as he embarks on a 24 Mountains in 48 Hours 130 Km Snowboarding challenge for the charity of SCOPE, which raises just under £6000 for the worthy cause. Mann’s have secured the substructure package with Amec to the Epping Forest College with 15,000sq.m of floor space; this involves working closely with the College’s representatives as the existing college is to remain functional throughout the new build. Mann’s are proud to announce the award of two housing schemes sited at Greenford and Pinner, London for new client Crest Nicholson Eastern.

Working as partnering contractor with Willmott Dixon, Mann’s have commenced the enabling works to Ipswich University, involving intense environmental issues to allow the works to commence. Likewise after completing the enabling works and addressing heavily contaminated material with an environmental strategy at Maskew Avenue, Peterborough for McLarens and their client B&Q and Matalan, Mann’s have been awarded the complete substructure package. After nearly a year of discussions, programming and value engineering new client HBG have awarded Mann’s the complete concrete works to the Procure 21 Scheme at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital.

After lengthy discussions and value engineering with Kier Southern, Mann’s can announce that they have secured the substructure and superstructure packages for Athlone House sited on Hampstead Heath. Mann’s were also successful in securing the complete concrete works to a 12 storey structure at Sinclair House sited in Ealing for Loughton based Contractor Higgins. Gleeds and Mace have awarded Mann’s as Principle Contractor the enabling works to the Panoptican Centre at the UCL London.

Further to being awarded the 278 works at Crawley for Fairview Homes, Mann’s have been successful in securing the complete 2nd phase at the same scheme. Mann’s have also secured the initial substructure works to Inova Park to a £35 million gross value project, in Milton Keynes for new client Simons Construction Limited. Works also commenced to the new Ibis Hotel in Borehamwood for Speymill Contracts Limited.

Mann successfully secured two Work Group Buildings with Norwest Holst on RAF Northolt, which are part of a major construction programme at the RAF Base. Mann's have also secured a major 278 Junction Improvement at their previously secured contract for Fairview Homes in Crawley.

Works finally commenced on Golden Lane Campus, Islington after months of archaeologists activities for Willmott Dixon. Also secured with Willmott Dixon is the S.E.N. School at Reading, part of a recently developed partnering agreement with Willmott Dixon. Mann Construction sponsor The Willow Tree foundation at Bush Hill Park Golf Club, also televised on Sky Sports.

42 number School Framework Agreement with Galliford Try (Midlands).

After completing the Crawley Leisure Centre in January 2006, Mann have secured Phase One of a Residential Development of 829 units on the old Crawley Leisure Centre site which will span four Phases over the next 3-4 years.
Through our works on the Aldershot Health Centre with Alfred McAlpine, we have been retained by Davis Langdon to proceed with the complex 278 Works of a major roundabout junction. This will improve access to the new Health Centre.
Following our successful completion of the infrastructure scheme with our new client Gladedale (which commenced in March 2006), we have now been awarded the sub structure works for the proposed development in Milton Keynes.
Mann have secured an initial Stabilisation & Substructures works from a RMPA Services Member in the redevelopment of Colchester Garrison.

Mann have commenced works to the 150 bedroom Oasis Hotel sited within Chessington World of Adventures for their client Speymill Contracts Limited.

Laing O'Rourke have chosen Mann to complete the substantial complex substructure and superstructure works to their prestigious project St Anne's Care Home, Stoke Newington.
Mann have successfully secured their first contract with Redrow homes. The project is sited in Bury St Edmunds and consists of three, four storey apartment blocks including all piling and a complex undercroft and transfer slab.

Bowmer & Kirkland have again secured the expertise of Mann for the elaborate Harmsworth Quays Print Complex at Didcot, Oxford. The Harmsworth Quays Project requires an extremely high specification & tolerance finishes.

Mann secured the Sainsbury's redevelopment at Wantage. Due to complex ground consitions, Bowmer & Kirkland thought we were the only Mann for the job. Mann have negotiated the procurement of a number of tracked machines with Volvo.
