to specialise in the provision of haulage, recycling, waste
transfer, tipping facilities and fill materials for Mann Construction
Limited and other clients, the success of Mann Environmental
Plc to date has enabled the submission of more competitive
bids on contracts involving large volumes of disposal and
fill, site clearance and enabling.
Operating from space at the Mann Construction site at Enfield,
Mann Environmental Plc considers the securing of tipping and
recycling facilities as a priority and has developed solutions
for haulage and the supply of fill materials to Mann Construction
and other companies.
As a significant provider of tipping, recycled material supply
and associated haulage, Mann Environmental Plc allows other
haulage contractors to use any tipping facilities under its
control, to purchase crushed recycled materials and to carry
out deliveries or haulage as required. It also supplies services
to other construction companies for the removal of their spoil
to tips and for the supply of fill and certain aggregates
as appropriate. In a fragmented industry, with haulage and
tipping suppliers varying from owner-driver outfits lorry
to the large haulage firms, Mann Environmental offers reliable
and significant provision of tipping, recycled material supply
and associated haulage.
Increased environmental legislation and focus on this sector
of industry poses greater difficulties for smaller operators
both in haulage and tipping. Because Mann Environmental assists
in the tendering process for Mann Construction work it is
able to determine, through the contract documentation, what
type of spoil it has to remove, what rate has been set and
when the spoil needs to be removed. Mann Environmental is
therefore able to provide a better service to the customer
in providing spoil for fill.
The company boasts a wealth of knowledge amongst its management
team. As one of the founder directors and owner of Mann Construction
Limited, Peter Manning has over twenty years of experience
in groundwork and civil engineering, providing contractual
and commercial expertise as well as management input. Brian
Mulry, another founder director of Mann Construction, supplies
expertise in the management and organisation of haulage and
fill requirements, from over twenty years of working in this
sector.
